Hello everyone,
Earlier this month we visited Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, for the start of the annual Holiday in the Park event.
Let's start with the characters. On the day we visited, we saw Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E Coyote, Porky Pig and Petunia Pig. There were also some holiday characters, including the Snow Queen, the Poinsettia Princess, a toy soldier and some gingerbread people.
For some reason, for the Holiday in the Park event, they had baby goats. While they were cute, I am not convinced that they belong in a theme park, especially during the cold of winter. Nonetheless, they were there, so I took photos of them.
Besides the characters (and this year's goats), the main reason to visit during the festive season is actually to see all their Christmas lights. Six Flags Great Adventure does a pretty good job of decorating for the season, and it's really pretty. The main Christmas Tree has LEDs on it and plays music and does a light show throughout the evening, which is neat.
We had a fun time, and look forward to returning soon!
