LEGO 2016 Advent Calendar Review, Part Three

Hello everyone,

In this third and final part of my LEGO advent calendar reviews for this year, I am going to take a look at the LEGO City edition.

The LEGO City advent calendar is set number 60133, and contains 290 pieces, including seven minifigures.

The front and the back of the box:

The calendar opens up to reveal the doors and a small scene:

Let's take a look at each day up close now.

Day one:

Day three:

Day four:

After day four you can create this fun little scene with the firefighters rocking it out for Christmas!

Day five:

Day six completes the snowmobile, which looks like this in its finished form:

Day seven:

Day eight:

Day nine:

Day ten:

After day ten, you can make this cute scene with the children playing ice hockey:

Day eleven:

Day twelve:

Day thirteen:

Day fourteen:

Day fifteen:

Day sixteen:

Day seventeen:

Day eighteen:

Day nineteen:

Day twenty:

Day twenty one:

Day twenty two:

Day twenty three:

Day twenty four:

I would give this set five out of five. I actually really love the calendar this year. For whatever reason, LEGO decided to go for a firefighter theme this year, with the fireman snowman, three firefighter minifigures, and the firefighter themed snowmobile. I also like the way it builds up to little collections of one particular thing, like the band, the ice hockey players, and the husky pulling the sleigh (you can see the finished version of that in the photo below). Over all a really fun calendar that brings some nice additions that can easily be inserted into your LEGO collection.

Have a great day everyone,

Dan.
