Disney Treasures Box Review - Pirates Cove

Hello everyone,

If you follow this blog regularly, you will know that we subscribe to the Funko Star Wars and Marvel boxes that they put out on alternating months. This month saw the start of a brand new box from Funko, this time called "Disney Treasures".

The Disney Treasures box is set to currently last for six editions, on alternating months, through next April. The first box was themed to "Pirates Cove", which as you can imagine, included a bunch of things related to various Disney pirates.

So, let's take a look, starting with the outside of the box.

I would give this box five out of five. I must say, I was very impressed. As with all of these kinds of things, you go into it not really knowing what to expect, so it was nice to be more than pleasantly surprised. I really cannot fault any of the contents at all. We have everything from Peter Pan characters (Hook on the patch, and a Smee Pop Vinyl), Mickey as a pirate (on the pin), classic Pirates of the Caribbean attraction merchandise, and movie Pirates of the Caribbean merchandise. It really is a well thought out box, and I look forward to the next one, which is going to be "Festival of Friends" - the "hint" they give is a silhouette of a Dumbo Pop Vinyl, so hopefully that means we'll see everyone's favourite flying elephant along with some other classic characters!

Have a great day everyone,

Dan.
