Hello everyone,
We are travelling tomorrow, so instead of my usual Flashback Friday, I am instead doing a Throwback Thursday today. In previous weeks we looked at
Stonehenge and the
Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. This week we are going to flashback to last summer, when we visited the Eden Project, which is located just outside St Austell, Cornwall, UK.
The Eden Project is a charity organisation that is involved in environmental conservation, research and educational programs, locally and all over the world. The main core of the project is a large structure built into a former quarry in the English countryside. Large "biomes" house different environments that can be explored, and are surrounded by gardens and hills filled with plants and trees.
It's really a beautiful place, and one that works for a good cause. If you ever get chance to visit, you really should.
Let's take a look at a small selection of the many photos I took there.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Dan.
